What: "Poetry and a Pint" Fall Convention, complete with writing workshops, special speaker, walks along Lake Superior and the latest updates from LOMP.

1:00 p.m. - 4:30 p.m. REGISTRATION - Meet the Polaris Poets at the Fitger's building during registration, then check out our writing workshops.
1:30 p.m. - 4:30 p.m. WORKSHOPS A special walking writing workshop will take place starting at 1:30 p.m. for those who want to walk along the lake walk. For those less ambulatory, a writing workshop will take place at the Fitger meeting space at the same time. Featuring former Duluth resident and LOMP president Dennis Herschbach.
5:00 p.m. DINNER - Then join your fellow poets for a dutch treat dinner at Sir Ben's Tavern at 5:00p.m. (a one block walk or drive from the Fitgers building).
6:30 p.m. CONTEST WINNERS ANNOUNCED After dinner we will return to the Harbor View Room inside the Fitger's building for our Annual contest winners to be announced and Meredith Cook will give her report on NFSPS Utah National Convention.

8:15 a.m. - 9:15 a.m. BOARD MEETING - LOMP Board Meeting with Open Mic for all non-board members
9:30 a.m. - 10:15 a.m. GENERAL MEETING - Will take place in Harbor View Room.
10:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. GUEST SPEAKER - Ellie Schoenfeld, writer of "the Dark Honey" and two other collections of poetry, co-writer of two poetry anthologies and winner of 2014 NEMBA award.
12:00 p.m. LUNCH - Participants will be provided with a boxed lunch and space will be opened up in the Harbor View Room for eating and visiting.
1:00pm - 1:30 p.m. PRESENTATION - Sue Chambers will present on the 2016 NSFPS Convention
1:45 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. CRITIQUE SESSION- Ellie Schoenfeld will host a critique session of selected poems from convention participants.

If you mail your poem, include two copies, one with name, address, email in the upper left corner, the other without identifica- tion, except to state form. If sending electronically, put identifying information on page two of your submission.)
